My incredibly gifted and illustrious colleagues, James Castura and Brandon Turgeon, jointly (and I use that term advisedly) came up with an acronym for my position at the company where we work. Coming from code monkeys like them I would usually take this kind of thing with a grain of salt but no! They really did a bang up job this time and used their creativity and talent to come up with ‘DBAG’! I like the sound of that. They say it stands for “DataBase Administrator Guy” although they did nod appreciatively when I returned with “DataBase Administrator Guru”. So I’m a DBAG or a DBAG Guru! Thanks guys!
I feel so honoured! Wow!
