This is my 600th post and so I thought I’d celebrate that with some meaningless things about that number. Kinda lame but I need to get back to my novel so you’re not going to get as elegant a post as I did for 300.
600 is equal to 2^3 X 3 X 5^2 or the District of Columbia in Roman numerals or, in binary, 1001011000. It’s a pronic number. And it’s a Harshad number also called a Niven number which is interesting because I shook Larry Niven’s hand last week (although the Niven really refers to Ivan M. Niven who is not related as far as I know).
In the Year 600 the population of the Earth rose to about 208 million people. Oh those uncrowded days of yore!
