“Did you always know?”
“Oh no. No. But I believed.”
and so ends the matrix trilogy. I love that set of movies, especially the first one. I find it a real ‘guy’ flick. But a good one since women like it too. This premise,
that our lives are all being lived out in a computer system and that if we believe strong enough we can will ourselves to do amazing things in the world of the matrix
has some similarities with the imagined creating the world quanta by quanta that is expressed, albeit badly, in What the BLEEP do we know!? which I reviewed yesterday.
It’s a fun idea to play with and that’s what makes it so enticing and fascinating. To be creators of our own reality ourselves. I suppose that’s what draws people to writing and other creative pursuits. Stretching our belief and touching the sublime.
